Fall festivities: Riiti Fashions

I want to start the fall festive season with a feature on a local entrepreneur/business: Riiti Fashions. The Indian festive season starts in August with one occasion following  another and whether you live in India or far away, these occasions all provide opportunities for wearing gorgeous silk saris.  Riiti Fashions is based here in the SF Bay area and owner Renuka Rajagopal brings you an exquisite collection of sari's, salwars, other ethnic apparel, stoles and shawls. I love saris and think they are the most elegant mode of dress. The rooms of Riiti Fashion HQ are stacked with saris of every imaginable hue. Dreamy embroidery, chiffons and silks, kantha and kundan, pashmina, phulkari, zardosi. .. a beautiful collection awaits you. Many of the saris are handmade with exquisite and painstaking detailing. I am sharing with you some closeups of the lovely fabrics..

Tempted? I bet! Riiti Fashions ships to most parts of the world, so you don't have to live locally to go shopping. Visit their website to find out how to order, shipping charges etc and obtain your own 6 yards (length of a traditional sari!) of hand crafted gorgeousness! PLUS, for a limited time (until Nov 13th 2012), mention the code RIITIOUATT20 in your order/email/at time of purchase to get a one-time 20% off your purchase!
(This offer isn't valid for custom orders/alterations and they have a no return policy.)
You can find their Facebook page here. Enjoy!
